すべての場所を通り過ぎるのは不可能です。

私たちは日々、どこかしらを通り過ぎて

ときには寄り道したり、立ち止まったりもします。

そこは、いったいどこなのか。

もしかしたら、これまで誰も立ち止まったことのない場所かもしれない。

ダンスユニット・アグネス吉井 初の個展を開催します。

本展のために撮り下ろした新作を含む映像作品を

callbox というとても小さなギャラリーに展示します。

アグネス吉井（あぐねすよしい）街を歩き 外で踊る、2人組ダンスユニット。アグネス吉井のダンスは場所の特性によって振り付けられ、身体ではなく場所が主役となる。短い動画をSNSに数多く投稿するほか、ワークショップ、野外フェスティバルやアートイベントでのパフォーマンス、映像コンテンツや演劇への振付・出演などを行う。

Aguyoshi is a dance duo founded in Japan in 2016 that explores the city on foot and performs outdoors. Their choreography is shaped by the unique characteristics of each location, making the space itself, rather than the dancers, the main focus. In addition to posting numerous short videos on social media, their activities include facilitating workshops, performing at outdoor festivals and art events, and choreographing and performing for video content and theater.
